Customized Services

Customized For You

Do you ever hesitate to take action because you think you’re going to do it wrong? Humble Oak is here to help you develop and execute a DEI communication plan and get input from your employees and clients along the way.

We are experts in inviting people into the dialogue about systems and policies. Instead of having all the solutions right away, we help you invite your constituents into the dialogue about what you’re struggling with, what you’re proud of, and how you’re going to navigate the complexities of the future. Seeking support with DEI work isn’t being unprepared - it’s being humble.

Humble Oak works with companies that are showcasing their success or new programs, companies engaged in developing new frameworks, and companies that are committed to expanding access by reaching new populations of employees and clients. A commitment to diversity work translates into broader networks of potential new employees and clients. We work with you to discover your gaps and bridge them, therefore inviting more people into your talent pool.

Humble Oak can additionally facilitate retreats through the following process:

Determining an Objective & Planning the Experience

We’ll start by discussing the current state of your organization and your goals for the retreat. Next, we’ll talk about the parameters for your retreat. Where would be a fun and accessible location? How can we create a stimulating experience that fosters connections? I’ll design a schedule and workshops to help you achieve those goals.

Facilitation with a Lens on Inclusion

On retreat day, I’ll be there early to help you get set up and ensure the day gets off to a smooth start. I provide all the materials for my trainings, including follow-up resources when participants want to learn more. I’ll lead the sessions so that every voice in the room can participate on equal footing.

Participant Feedback & Recommendations

After the retreat, I’ll gather and analyze participant feedback to help you understand what went well, what could be better, and what feelings and messages your participants took away from the experience.

TESTIMONIALS

“Working with Lucretia has been such a rewarding experience on many different levels. She is extremely knowledgeable, and brings a perspective that is both refreshing and empowering. We have been able to partner on many things related to Learning and Development and approaching it with a DE&I lens to make improvements to our current programs, and even create new programs to roll out to the firm. She always make my ideas and feelings feel valid, and never approaches our work together in a condescending way. Instead, she is a true thought partner who welcomes my feedback and brings her background and experience to the collaboration process which ultimately results in a productive and positive experience when working on any project with her.”

—Ileana Hinojosa, Lindsay & Brownell, LLP

“Working with Lucretia has been a really wonderful experience both personally and for our institution.  She has an incredibly approachable style and is great at listening to all the pieces before starting to look for answers.  She is incredibly intelligent and absorbs information quickly and she has poignant and thoughtful questions.  As a consultant, she has taken over for a person who previously held the role for over 10 years and relatively quickly assessed the critical pieces of the task at hand and delivered with tremendous results.  Part way through her consultancy, we had another staff member need to take a leave of absence and Lucretia filled in quickly to support an aspect of their role that was essential to finishing off the enrollment season strong and having students ready for the next school year.

I am someone who prides myself on working quickly to absorb information and solve problems and I can say, without a doubt, that Lucretia Witte is a person after my own heart.  She does a wonderful job of allowing space for a check in at the start of a meeting and also gets right to the heart of what needs to be addressed.  Her meetings are efficient, effective, and enjoyable.”

" I will freely admit that I was skeptical as we moved forward with this undertaking, but I’ve enjoyed the sessions that you’ve been leading and love your positivity!"
